1. What MediLog24 Is
MediLog24 is a personal medical document management app for storing, organising, and sharing health documents that are kept in your own Google Drive. MediLog24 is NOT a healthcare provider, hospital, laboratory, insurance service, or emergency service.
These Terms are an agreement between you and SAMTrek UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Lerchenstr. 7, 85630 Grasbrunn, Germany, registered at Amtsgericht München under HRB 309076.
2. No Medical Advice
Nothing in MediLog24 constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional. Do not rely on MediLog24 in a medical emergency; contact your local emergency services.
You remain responsible for the accuracy of what you save.
3. Accounts
You create an account with Google Sign-In. You must be at least 18 years old, and you must also meet Google’s minimum age requirement for your region. You are responsible for the security of your Google account, because anyone who controls the account you sign in with controls your MediLog24 records.
4. Acceptable Use
You must not: upload records you are not authorised to hold or manage; upload illegal or harmful content; attempt to access another user’s account or records; abuse share links to distribute third-party health data; or reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
5. Your Files and Your Google Drive
You retain full ownership of everything you upload. All files added through MediLog24 are stored in the “MediLog24” folder in your personal Google Drive.
This has consequences you should understand:
(a) Storage is yours. Files count against your Google account storage quota. If your Drive is full, uploads will fail. MediLog24 does not provide storage.
(b) Direct changes affect the app. If you rename, move, or delete files inside the MediLog24 folder directly in Google Drive, they will no longer be reachable through the app.
(c) Revoking access breaks the app. If you revoke MediLog24’s Google permission, the app cannot retrieve your files until you reconnect.
(d) We are not liable for data loss caused by changes you make in Google Drive outside the app, by your Google account being suspended, closed, or lost, or by Google service outages.
We strongly recommend keeping your own backup of any document that matters.
6. Sharing
You are responsible for who you share with and for revoking access when it is no longer needed. Public share links are accessible to anyone holding the link until they expire or you revoke them. Do not share records belonging to another person unless you are authorised to do so.
7. Account Suspension
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Where the law permits and the circumstances allow, we will give notice first.
8. Service Availability
We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. MediLog24 depends on Google Drive and Google Sign-In, and outages or policy changes at Google may interrupt the service.
9. Limitation of Liability
MediLog24 is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: medical decisions made using stored documents; loss or corruption of files held in your Google Drive; the actions of users or link-holders you shared with; or unavailability of Google services. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or damage caused by our gross negligence or intent, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Intellectual Property
The MediLog24 software, branding, and design are our intellectual property. Your uploaded files remain your property.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
12. Changes
We update the version and date when these Terms change and ask you to accept the new version in the app. Continued use after acceptance constitutes agreement.
